For "foodies", Torrevieja is a gastronomic paradise with a mouth-watering variety of restaurants of all kinds. Along with the local fresh fish restaurants and typical cuisine of the region you'll find a wealth of international restaurants - Italian, French, German, Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Serbian, Croatian - to name but a few! The cost of food and drinks in Torrevieja is very cheap compared with food back home. And of course, there are the usual fast food chains such as Burger King too. The typical Torrevieja Speciality is the "Caldero", which consists of different fish types, rice and the juice of the fish, this you can eat almost anywhere in town.
